The world’s finest vanillas are generally acknowledged to come from the northwestern Madagascar region known by the acronym SAVA. The districts include Sambava, Antalaha, Vohemar, and Aandapa.

One experiences this amazing region when driving into the town of Antalaha (sometimes called “the capitol of vanilla”). The beautiful and intoxicating scent of curing vanilla absolutely fills the Antalaha air.
We also source very high quality product in the region known as Analajirofo. This region includes the district of Mananara Nord. The relatively dry climate of Analajirofo gives growers there additional flexibility in the curing process.
The other district where Vanilles Elisa procures pods is the Diana region, which encompasses the district of Ambanja. The Diana region can provide superior products for buyers with the right network of growers and the right local and seasonal knowledge.

Our Prices
The pricing of Vanilles Elisa beans is affected by the usual market conditions, including supply and demand, quality, availability, harvest seasonality, export & license fee levels, and compensation levels required to maintain our fair trade policy.
We always endeavor to present competitive prices versus equivalent products that may be available in the market...but we don't try to be the cheapest. We focus on being the best.
We can also offer discounts for large or recurring clients based on volumes, just send us an email. Thanks!
